5 Tips To Prevent Ingrown Hair
Shaving is a much easier method than waxing for hair removal. But we can all relate to the problem of ingrown hair associated with it especially if we have a sensitive skin.
Here are some tips to avoid the ingrown hair while shaving.
Use a sharp razor
Always use a sharp razor as with blunt razors, you are more likely to use it multiple times over an area. Make sure to change the razor blade regularly.
Exfoliate your skin before shaving
Exfoliating will help in opening the pores and can remove the dead skin that can trap the hair. It can help prevent ingrown hairs.
Do not dry shave
Avoid dry shaving. Use a shaving cream or some other lubricant so that your hair becomes softer before you shave. This will help prevent hair to curl back into your skin
Shave in the direction of hair growth
Shaving in the direction of hair growth can prevent ingrown hair. Do not shave in the opposite direction especially if you have a sensitive skin.
Clean the electric razor
If you are using an electric razor, make sure you clean it before using.
